I so agree, when I allow myself to dwell on the fact that I am overweight and not looking good, it leads me into comfort "what's the point" eating. If I tell myself in the morning that I'm looking better, put on some nice clothes and stand tall it helps me stick to my eating plan. As I have said many times - don't beat yourself up when you slip up, most of us do, just start again and if you can discover why it happened maybe you can change that pattern and avoid the trigger.
