Carly, welcome.

It sounds like you've got your "switch" flipped on, and that is 99% of this battle. Making the commitment and sticking with it no matter what makes all the difference. It's not easy to make this commitment and truly internalize it, I know. And congrats for facing your fears and posting this on the forum--I'm a pretty private person in general but sharing on here has made a big difference for me and I think it will be for you as well.

Now, have you got an eating/exercise plan together? It sounds like your very active and that's great. If you keep a good calorie deficit the weight will peel off faster than you can imagine.
