Currently there's no automated way to separate your food by meals. What some users do is to make a custom food with a heading like ************* or BREAKFAST (etc., use your imagination) and then enter that custom food at the end of every meal. That way it will show up as a line between meals/snacks, breaking them up.
Today, for instance, my food log reads something like this:
1/2 cup 2% milk
Total Cinnamon Crunch Cereal (it was a cereal day!)
Vitamin Supplement
******************** <---- this is my meal separator, I just entered it after I was done entering my food
Chicken breast, 3 oz., baked, broiled roasted
salad blend
********************
apple, raw, medium
********************
etc., you get the idea

I often forget to log it as meals, but sometimes I remember.
