New to FD, need some starting help
I'm 18,5'4, and weigh 228 lbs. It's been a struggle all my teenage life to lose weight and at this point I'm easily discouraged just by looking in the mirror. I need to make a lifestyle change, not just go on a diet. I'm picky and don't really like vegetables (except broccoli and lettuce) so I know I need to start with that. Any suggestions on how to make veggies taste good? I know I need about 1500 cal a day but I don't know how to go about all of this. Any meal suggestions in general?
Also, I'm having trouble staying motivated with exercise. My mom uses a reward system (she gives herself a cute sticker on her calender when she works out) but that doesn't work for me.
Honestly I just need some sort of support, advice, or tips. Anything is much appreciated.
