Try this (it works for me.):
Pour a small mug of skim milk and sprinkle a little nutmeg on top. Microwave it for a minute or so. Sip it slowly around 20 minutes before bed.
The amino acids (tryptophan, primarily) and the lactose are activated to help promote sleep, plus, it takes the edge off your hunger. As a bonus it's yummy, too!
