Five months dedicated, 70 Toledos eliminated
Hello everyone.
Here is my update and I hope it helps to encourage others here at FitDay….
Down 70.4 lbs, from 252 lbs to 181.6 lbs today
Originally set out to drop 30 lbs by January 15th – Goal achieved on 11/21/10
Then focused on breaking the 200 lb mark – Goal achieved on 1/25/11
Reset goal for 190 lbs – Goal achieved on 2/14/11
Next goal, my wedding weight, 183 lbs – Goal achieved today 3/3/11
Next up, 174.2 lbs, the BMI Healthy Weight for Albie - Goal target of 4/15/11
I’ve been dedicated to changing my habits and after 5 months, my focus has yielded great results. I am now actively walking for exercise usually 5 or 6 days a week, averaging about 25-35 miles per week. This number is increasing as I am focusing on running various 10k events when the weather gets better around here. As the snow melts away, I will begin doing interval running and then full 10k workouts.
I just wanted to thank the moderators and all the nice friends I have met here who have encouraged and inspired me and I hope that I can do the same for others as well. I think we all should be recognized for our individual and collective effort in building healthier lives and promoting friendship. Thanks to all!
Rock and roll on down the road, and just keep on keepin’ on! ------------Albie

Great post, Albie, and great job!
Anyone serious about losing weight and getting fit simply needs to follow your example. Eat sensibly, exercise every day and use FitDay to keep track of calories in and calories out. Add some dedication and "sticktooitiveness" and you can't fail.
Regards,
Michael
