Default Tips?

So, as I said in my introduction I'm in a wheelchair, and I can't use my arms. I'm missing a hip socket and its winter so standing up for more than maybe a minute has become impossible. I need ideas though, I thought of these...but maybe you all have more thoughts?

-Trunk rotations
-Sit ups
-Leg lifts
-Using my mini-stepper thing
-'Dancing' in the chair

Any other thoughts? :[ I really want to burn the weight.

Sounds good. You might Google something like "desk workouts" or "seated workouts", "leg workouts", etc, there are a bunch of them online and most are fairly short. Every now and then I Google them just to burn a few calories. You might also get yourself a personal trainer or a physical therapist. I've been rehabbing a bum shoulder and my PT has me doing all sorts of things that aren't specifically "for the shoulder", but she's in great shape so I take her word as phys ed gospel.

A trainer/PT sounds good, and I'll also be looking into 'desk exercises'. Thanks for the tips!

Its much easier to burn the weight off through creating a calorie deficit with diet, rather than exercise.

Exercise helps us maintain and build muscle. Build endurance among other things. But 500 calories of exercise is a lot. It would be close to playing 1 hour of a team sport like basketball or soccer. Whereas you could simply cut one meal or large snack out of the equation and ditch the 500 calories.
