I agree with Michael - start with the eating, and it sounds like you have been thinking about what you need to do. Make small changes, and stick with them. I would recommend planning your meals and snacks in advance and logging everything. You have to be honest with yourself in order to be successful. The best diet for you is one that you make for yourself based on foods you enjoy and your habits. Don't tell yourself you CAN'T have your favorite junk foods - but don't make them too available either.
