I've been using Fitday for a while now, but never posted. Now my first post will be a positive one! A few details: 5'9" male, 27 years old, starting weight with Fitday 219 lbs.
In June I weighed in at 236. I was out out of shape and in my line of work I can lose my job or worse over my physical condition. It was time to get serious. By September I was able to get stronger and faster and with only slight attention paid to what I was eating. Come September I could not pass my physical fitness test and my career was now being effected negatively.
First, I had to find a new fitness program as I would be away from any gym. I utilized a body weight training program from Mark Lauren's book "You Are Your Own Gym" and I reigned in my eating by monitoring everything that I ate. This site was a godsend! I passed my physical fitness test and I'm now down to 190 for the first time since 2004!
Fitday has been a great resource and I reccomend it to everyone who is concerned about their nutrition.
