I have a question for you athletic types. I am running my first 5K race this coming Thursday. I started running on May 26th and now I can run 5K in just under 35 minutes. I don't care where I place. It's just a HUGE accomplishment for me to be able to do this considering how unbelievably out of shape I was just 3 months ago. Do you have any tips on what and when I should eat the day of the race? I am a little nervous to run without my iPod but apparently we are not allowed to wear headphones during the race. Bummer. I use the music tempo to motivate myself.
