I am one of those people that has to do a "maintenance" break after 20 or 30 pounds. So I took a couple of weeks to eat at about my break-even calorie load of 1900 before starting the reduced calorie diet again. My doc says this helps reset the "starting point" and reduces the plateau effect.
I am so glad to see someone else doing maintenance breaks. Reading through other comments I was beginning to feel to slow in my progress. I too need to reset the starting point every 20 pounds or so.
