label reading
Am I the only one that is beginning to get aggrevated at food companies out there when their nutrition labels are for a serving size of 3/4 of a cup????
I'm thinking that they need to have the serving size be 1/2 cup or 1 cup. I have yet to run across a 3/4 cup size measuring cup. I realize that there is a 3/4 cup mark down inside the 1 cup measuring cup....but, really I just find it annoying.
Guess I'm just venting. lol

Other label things that get on nerves...
-"cholesterol free!" on cereal/grain products.... there was no cholesterol in it to begin with!
-"X grams of whole grains in every serving" ... what does this even mean? there's no RDA for "whole grains."
-the whole awkward serving size thing mentioned above
-the AHA certified check mark on foods like Coco Puffs. Pretty sure that's not soooo good for your heart...
