2016 New Year weight loss challenge.
I would like to start a new years challenge. I need to lose 25 pounds this year. 2 pounds a month. I would love to do it in 6 months and lose 4 pounds a month. but I would be happy with 2, I have to be very reasonable because I do not lose!! we would weigh in on Fridays. hope someone wants to join me. think about it, join anytime. January 2nd first weigh in.

Hi Linda! Having a challenge is a good idea, and we've been talking about starting a summer challenge after our New Year's challenge is over on Jan. 4th. Weigh ins have been on Mondays (helps us keep accountable over the weekends), because we already have a regular weekly Friday weigh in thread ongoing. We also try to break our challenges up into smaller chunks because it's easier to stay focused with more mid-term goals than a whole year at a time. Would you like to join us for our next challenge beginning probably the 2nd week of January?

I will join any challenge where we weigh in on Monday. I like the continuity of weighing in twice a week, Friday for every week and Monday for challenge day.
Can I propose to keep the challenge to 12 weeks long, Spring Challenge instead of longer. Lets see what we can do in 3 months.

January 2nd Friday 169.8
goal for week=exercise 45 minutes 5 days (Limited to walking, water aerobics, low yoga because of injuries) water 48 oz. day. keep food journal. eat only whole foods.
also joined the spring challenge.
