Default "Remember me" Checkbox not working

If I log in with the "remember me" checkbox ticked, then close the browser and later visit the site again, the dashboard gives me an "error retrieving profile data" message box, and sends me to the login screen.

In fact, it appears that the site is logging me out even if I don't close the browser.

I have had this problem, too. Not lately so much, though - I wait longer at each screen to give the ads a chance to load. Not sure if that's the key but you can try it... I'm in Firefox.

Yes being constantly logged out of FitDay regardless of whether I tick "remember me" or not has been a constant source of frustration for me for many months now. It would be good if the logged on sessions would expire a LOT later than they are, which seems to after around 15mins at this point.

Remember me not working is not the only problem. I started using Fit Day over 10 years ago and it seems the food list has never been updated. I just tried MyFitnessPal and I was amazed at their food list. No more creating custom foods manually!! I'm switching!!

Just to be on the safe side, I check the Nutrition Information on something and add it - even though I may have added it before. I noticed, for example, that over the years, McD's has changed the calorie count on the Filet-o-fish; there are fewer calories now. The reason, I think, is that the size has changed - it is slightly smaller.

It's just my habit. I think I would do whenever I use a food database.

Default "Remember Me"

For some time now, this feature has not worked. If it isn't going to work (over a year from the posts here), I won't bother checking the box.

Anyone else in 2016 have this issue?
