Default New here, and new to forums

Well today I changed my normal day from 'seated some movement' to 'sedentary' - still it thinks I ate way less calories than I must have...

Background: I have had decent weight most of my life (despite a few things here n there) ...but had gotten to a very stable 129 from doing nothing (thanks Sheboygan, WI).... anyway, after a trip to Europe and cutting out drinking for a month, we kept walking i hit the weights (only a cpl times thus far) and dropped to 120 in a bit over a month! It was awesome and kind of like my body's way of saying, "duh that's more like it."

I slowly but with effort got to 117.4 where I stayed for a while, then 116.4 where I stayed a few days, then Friday I woke to 116!! So close! The past 2 days have seen me go from 116 to 116.2 to today, 166.6. This is the WRONG way grrr!! Am I not allowed a small slice of pizza after wakling the dunes for 3 miles and then flat land another 2? And it being a really shitty day at at that!?
Any my stupid Y has been closed all weekend = frustration and no weights.
And my husband's been depressed which has *not* been helping.

Just so irritated!

Do I have to not enjoy any food or do I have to get just way more into exercising to make doing that once in a while to not matter? To not set me back? (I had pizza last night is what i mean)

Advice??

-Val!

You didn't go from 116 to 166 in two days, did you? I'd like to see that! On second thought, I'd rather not see that - it's probably like watching a balloon inflate.

Your BMI is going to be the best guide to how you're doing. Is your BMI on the low end of normal? High end? Smack dab in the middle?

116 t o116 is watching a balloon inflate? you mean 116.6? idk confused.

my bmi right now is 18.8 if my scale is right.
though the scale at planet fitness put me at 119.6 today so not sure what to believe. (have never weighed there before, only on my home scale) :/

No... I think you meant to write 116 above and you wrote 166!

'The past 2 days have seen me go from 116 to 116.2 to today, 166.6. '

I see this breakdown of BMIs on another site:

BMI Categories:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

So, looks like you're fine.

Red face Stupid period

I should note that the day after i got to 116.6 I hit 117.6 but also started my period. I guess there is something to that water retention, etc, after all!

That's really good to know. - I found it via google in other forums.

After my period I dropped quickly to 115.4, almost like where i would have been had the period not interrupted things!

So it was worth it to keep eating right and working out. I've already passed (just barely) my goal weight. Woot!

If we are trusting my scale...
HW: 131 (a few times)
SW: 129 but for FD purposes:120 on May 14 2014
CW: 111.6
GW1: 115 (reached 6.1.14)
GW2: 113 (A good weight for me, reached 6.3.14-6.5.14)
GW3: 110 (just to see)
GW4 107 (high school weight - got back to it when I was 25/26 but this one isn't necessary)
