Default Motivational Thread Feb 17-23

The difference between your body this week and next week is what you do for the next 7 days to achieve your goals. It's a new week. Make it count!

Hi all! It's a new week! I'm planning to do my regular 40 minute cardio interval workout...today will be ab focused. Maybe extra cardio this evening? I need to up my water intake today...I can even feel the water retention in my hands!!!

What are you doing today to work towards your goals? LEt's make this na epic week!

Hi Debbie, thanks for starting us off. I am committed to staying on track this week. This morning I got a half hour workout done before going out with a friend. We went to an African Festival where we listened to music and watched some dancers. I had my hair braided in corn rows and I bought a head scarf. We ate beef stew with African spices, very good. It was a fun day. Tonight I will get back on the treadmill for another half hour. We can do this.

I'm in. Time for a good week. Busy weekend with kids and grandkids. I'll see tomorrow whether the food outweighed the activities.
Goals this week:
Calories below 1500
Y X 3 (should be easy as there today and 2 classes this week)
increase my water intake
Get out cross country skiing
Reduce salt!

Wow, nice quote, where did you find it?

I started a new job that requires me to be in top shape unfortunately so I'll be going hardcore for the next few months.

I am organized this week. I know what I am going to eat, when I am going to exercise and it takes the pressure off. Plan for success. I have been doing well for the past three days and I feel in control again. Lets all have a great week.

Weight is heading down again now that the full moon is over and my salty food are gone. Active day yesterday with swimming, curling and walking on water - frozen water that is.

Today aqua fit and seniors and weights. I'm looking forward to March 6th when they spend the full hour demonstrating the gravity machines. I figure a while on the rack should make me taller.
