I think around a third of your calories can come from protein. 1 gram of protein is 4 calories.

Your protein needs are based on your weight and gender. Since you are male, you need around .80 grams of protein per kilo of bodyweight. If you weigh 80 kilos, or about 175 pounds, you need 64 grams of protein per day.

If you are trying to gain muscle, you need to increase your protein intake. Many strength athletes recommend at least 2 grams of protein per kilo to gain muscle. You can use those two figures as rough guidelines for planning your diet.

Most adults should to get 10% to 35% of their daily calories from protein foods.
So 56 grams of protein for men and 46 grams of protein for women.
Endurance athletes need about 50% more protein. And body builders will need about 70% more.

amount of protein is based on your physic and working schedule. one more thing i want to suggest you to take filtered drinking water. for that you should have a better drinking water system. you can take any of the water filter and use that.

The US Department of Agriculture's dietary nutrient supply for healthy adults' protein intake is about 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight.
