Had time only to skim the posts. I'm down 2 1/2 lbs. since Monday--hope it sticks!
Hope, thanks for the anniversary wishes. Kudos on your 2.4 lb. lightening up.
Ian, LOL! No I'm not a marathon runner. Far from it--my goal is 8 miles walking total this week. Love your jokes!
Bonnie, best wishes for getting over your pain so you can walk.
Robin, I'm enjoying the water. I hope it doesn't hit me today, though, because I've got stuff to do and may not have easy access to a restroom.
To whomever cares about flax: if using the flax seed, it's better to use ground seed because our bodies can't digest whole flax seeds. I can't stand the taste of flax oil.
Donna, LOL on the typing. I typed an email to my DH's nephew yesterday and was so tired that I proofread three times and still wasn't sure if I had any errors in grammar and sentence structure, even after running a spell check. I ended the email with "My brain is really saturated right now. Please just read what I MEANT, not what I TYPED." I only did 10 minutes of walking yesterday--my back was killing me and my toe is hurting from something unknown--I don't remember injuring it. I'll use my AbSlide contraption today if I can't tolerate walking. I struggle to not over-react, too. But I got my 9 year old grandson's goat yesterday by refusing to let him get to me and managed to not raise my voice over his not doing his 20-30 minutes of daily reading as recommended by our school disrict. When I calmly said, "OK, but no computer or playing or watching TV until you do it," he sulked for 10 minutes on the couch and then I looked over and he was reading "voluntarily."
Libby, best wishes with your cataract. I'm counting my blessings. I was diagnosed with cataracts over 15 years ago, told I wouldn't need surgery for 5-7 years down the road, and still don't need surgery. I have a lot of permanent basement (straight down) vision loss and some central vision loss from glaucoma, though. But my peripheral vision is still wonderful so I can still drive. Oh, golly! I hope your teeth and jaw feel better today.
RenewedSoul, kudos on your weight loss!
It's wonderful to have family, but they surely can keep us busy, eh?
