5 Recipes for Delicious, Dairy-Free Smoothies

Peanut Butter Smoothie

Makes 2 Servings

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup soy milk or coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1/3 cup fresh peanut butter, chunky or smooth
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup

Blend ingredients together until smooth. Try frozen bananas to further chill this drink. To mix this fun recipe up, try adding some chocolate syrup, strawberries, or granola to your smoothie.

Berry Berry Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

  • ½ cup pomegranate fruit juice blend
  • ½ cup soy milk, almond milk, or coconut milk
  • ¾ cup of frozen berries, mixed blend
  • ½ tablespoon honey or 1 packet of stevia (optional)
  • ½ Banana (optional)

Blend all ingredients until smooth and without chunks. Try this mix with a splash of Kombucha or lemon for an added zest

Fresh Mean Green Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

  • ½ cup of ripe kiwis
  • ½ cup of honeydew melon
  • ½ cup of spinach
  • ½ cup of green grapes
  • ½ cup of green apple or pear
  • ½ cup fruit juice of your choice, try lychee, pear, or white grape juice
  • Splash of lime or lemon (optional)
  • ½ packet of stevia (optional)

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Consider using frozen fruit or cooling the fruit prior to blending into the smoothie, or chill the drink in the refrigerator after.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream

Makes 2 servings

  • 1 banana
  • ¼ avocado
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup plain soy yogurt, or coconut yogurt or almond yogurt
  • ½ cup soy milk, or coconut milk or almond milk
  • ½ cup chocolate soy milk, coconut milk or almond milk
  • 2 ripe strawberries (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings

Blend this drink for a minute until it is thick and thoroughly mixed. This smoothie is both a dessert and a meal. When your week gets rough, try this treat to brighten your week! Full of protein and healthy fats to keep you full for hours!

Jicama Mint Melon Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

  • ½ cup chopped jicama
  • 1/3 cup cooked cauliflower
  • ¾ cup of cubed honeydew melon
  • ½ cup of cucumber pieces
  • ¼ cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or 1 packet of stevia
  • 1/3 cup ice cubes

Make sure to blend this smoothie until there are no chunks and the ice cubes have been pureed. This smoothie is low calorie and is a great fresh drink for summer time drinks in the yard!
