Aloha! I have had 14 years of a diverse professional background ranging from inpatient/outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy and food service, to wellness coaching, human performance, public speaking, and private practice. I am currently serving as a Human Performance/Health Promotion contractor for the Department of Defense (DoD) in Hawaii. My passion is to help people enhance their lifestyle through nutrition and fitness. I believe that you should not just see the results, you should feel the change that encompasses your whole life through sustainable lifestyle changes. Healthy foods are not boring...they can be easy to prepare, taste great, and have amazing therapeutic benefits! Awareness is power, and is the first step to becoming aware.

What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step." ~C.S. Lewis

It.s no secret that I love a good challenge! After receiving a bachelor.s degree in environmental science and a master.s degree in public health I decided that nutrition was my real passion. I returned to school to become a dietitian. In the meantime, I worked as a Lifestyle Coach for Mayo Clinic and learned that coaching, as opposed to just telling people what to do, was my thing. I love empowering individuals to take control of their own health and take the lead in creating and achieving their healthy lifestyle goals. I love to be active and have completed both a triathlon and duathlon. I could talk endlessly with you about urban farming, cooking, Ghost Hunters, wild bird feeding, and the best extreme home workouts. My life is made awesome by memorable meals, new recipes, good books, clever quotes, outdoor sports, and my family of a husband, a cat, a Boston terrier, and 4 chickens. My motto has always been .good nutrition = better health = best life. and I am excited to assist you in making nutrition the foundation of your new, healthy life!
